Chromatics is a lamp inspired by the positive and negative of frames that create volume and depth. The use of transparent and fluorescent acrylic materials cause the artwork to optically transform once lit.
This is a photograph I took of an empty corridor located in a back passage at MSVA where I work. My initial idea is to cover aspects of the corridor with a pattern. Using a combination of lining paper and flourecent paint to do so. Also, as their is no natural light entering the space, it could be an interesting opportunity to see how lighting could be controlled e.g via coloured filters. This site would then photographed as means to generate spacially distorted imagery.
